Job Title: Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at GOLDMINES CONSTRUCTION INC.

Job Summary

The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces. This includes checking formwork, placing concrete, and using power tools to compact and level the surface.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check formwork and granular base materials for quality and accuracy
  • Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade and depth specification
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure a smooth finish
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and prevent damage
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to ensure durability and longevity
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
