We offer a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient, and online programs designed to meet the diverse needs of our patients. Our team of experienced clinicians utilizes evidence-based modalities to provide personalized treatment plans that foster healing and growth.

Your Role as a Mental Health Therapist:
  • Provide individual therapy, education, and ongoing assessment to patients using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), interpersonal therapy, and trauma-informed care.
  • Facilitate abstinence-based relapse prevention programs through individual and group sessions, incorporating process-based content.
  • Collaborate with patients to establish treatment goals and coordinate care across a multidisciplinary team.
  • Deliver high-quality psychoeducational and process groups utilizing evidence-based modalities.
  • Coordinate case management and communication with an interprofessional team, both within EHN Canada and external providers.
  • Partner with stakeholders in developing, implementing, and following up on patient aftercare plans, including referrals to abstinence-based recovery programs (e.g., AA, CA, NA, SMART, etc.). Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries and referral reports promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation and charting in accordance with relevant professional standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients' families, referral sources, community providers, EAP representatives, case managers, and other members of the care team.
  • Engage in ongoing personal and professional development, maintain appropriate professional affiliations, and provide current documentation to Human Resources.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance (QA) activities as assigned, including completion of outcome measures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, which may include providing coverage in other programs as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work (preferred).
