About D'Barrio's Kitchen

We are a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant located in a rural area, seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Cook. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Management
    • Determine the optimal size of food portions and costs to maintain profitability.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure seamless operations.
    • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Kitchen Operations and Supervision
    • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
    • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
    • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Customer Service and Safety
    • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
    • Organize buffets and banquets to ensure exceptional customer experience.
    • Manage kitchen operations to maintain high standards of quality and service.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience in the food service industry is highly valued.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
    • Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
