Lawn Care Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lawn Care Supervisor to join our team at The Better Way Property Maintenance. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our lawn care services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns to ensure high-quality results.
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to meet the demands of our lawn care services.
  • Organize and plan the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of our clients' properties.
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance to ensure our properties are well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Plan and estimate labor and materials to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support our lawn care services.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in lawn care or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
