Your Opportunity:

Description:

As a Physiotherapist II, you will play a key role in coordinating physiotherapy and allied health clinical services. You will provide supervision and guidance to students and team members, working both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team. Your leadership skills will be essential in making day-to-day clinical decisions on patient and family needs, including assessment, intervention, discharge, and follow-up. You will also be responsible for advising team members on complex clinical cases and providing clinical leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and effective client care. Additionally, you will ensure that physiotherapy practice is evidence-based and aligned with Alberta legislation, regulations, professional standards, and AHS policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate physiotherapy and allied health clinical services
  • Supervise and guide students and team members
  • Make day-to-day clinical decisions on patient and family needs
  • Advise team members on complex clinical cases
  • Provide clinical leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and effective client care
  • Ensure physiotherapy practice is evidence-based and aligned with Alberta legislation and regulations

Required Qualifications:

A Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Basic Cardiac Life Support (healthcare provider level) from the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Preferred Qualifications:

As Required.
