Your Opportunity:
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist II to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a Physiotherapist II, you will play a key role in providing coordination of physiotherapy and other allied health clinical services. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide leadership and supervision to students and team members as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physiotherapy services to patients and families, including assessment, intervention, and discharge planning.
- Supervise students and team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Participate in program development and operational planning, representing the department on committees and programs as needed.
- Make decisions on staffing level requirements, workflow, and caseload priorities in collaboration with managers and other healthcare providers.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience.
- Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (healthcare provider level) from the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
