About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources and personnel.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to support site operations.
- Hire and supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare and manage construction schedules, milestones, and progress reports.
- Develop and negotiate contractual agreements with clients and suppliers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings to ensure accurate site layout and construction.
- Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions to support project requirements.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols.
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, engineering).
- 2+ years of experience in a senior construction management role.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
