Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Harmony House. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and conduct specimen collection as needed
  • Ensure infection control and monitor nutritional intake
  • Observe and record medication's therapeutic and side effects, and take vital signs
  • Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
  • Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with the healthcare team
Requirements
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • Full-time enrollment in a nursing program
  • Criminal record check, driving record check, immunization records, and tuberculosis test
