Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Harmony House. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Nursing Services: Administer medications, conduct specimen collection, and ensure infection control to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our patients.
  • Monitor Patient Progress: Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Communicate Effectively: Provide clear and concise information to patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work and completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Environment: Chronic or long-term care facilities/centres, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
