Job Overview

Sterling-Hoffman Life Sciences is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the role of Director of Product Development. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Guide and motivate a diverse team of scientists, researchers, and technicians, ensuring they have the necessary tools and support to thrive.
  2. Promote an environment of creativity, teamwork, and ongoing enhancement within the Innovation Center.
  3. Manage the creation and refinement of formulations for pharmaceutical products, natural health solutions, and dietary supplements.
  4. Work in close partnership with the Scientific Team to guarantee effective formulation and testing processes.
  5. Comply with regulatory standards and quality benchmarks.
  6. Offer expertise in regulatory requirements for product development, including the preparation and evaluation of submissions to regulatory bodies.
  7. Engage with regulatory agencies to streamline approval processes and address any regulatory hurdles.
  8. Keep informed of the latest industry advancements and trends to uncover opportunities for innovation and product development.
  9. Encourage a culture of research and experimentation to foster continuous improvement and meet market demands.
  10. Formulate and implement strategic plans for product development that align with organizational objectives.
  11. Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure the successful and timely completion of formulation initiatives.
Essential Qualifications:
  1. A university degree is essential. While all candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with relevant academic backgrounds.
  2. Significant full-time work experience is required (students and recent graduates are not eligible).
  3. Recent experience in the pharmaceutical sector is highly desirable.
  4. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in research and development.
