About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright Foreman/Woman to join our team at K-Indu. Ltd. in a permanent position. As a key member of our industrial operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of construction millwrights and apprentices, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 people, including construction millwrights and apprentices.
  • Training and Development: Train or arrange for training to ensure that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed and that a safe working environment is maintained.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare production and other reports, and perform administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification and other relevant certifications.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
  • Certifications: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
