We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our operating room.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management and in accordance with the hospital's mission statement.
- Collaborate with the clinical coordinator and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room operations.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Completion of a post-graduate perioperative nursing course or two years of recent experience in an equivalent setting with a minimum of two years of OR/PARR nursing experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to promote safe, competent, patient care.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all members of the healthcare team.
