We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Making Waves Childcare Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This role requires a strong commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that meet the needs of children aged 0-12 years
  • Supervise and support staff, trainees, and volunteers to ensure a high-quality care environment
  • Lead activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and arts and crafts
  • Encourage children to express their creativity and imagination through various activities
  • Observe and record children's progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to support their development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective team approach to childcare
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
