Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Making Waves Childcare Inc. as a key member of our childcare staff.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This role requires a strong commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children to express their creativity and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that meet the diverse needs of children
  • Supervise and support staff, trainees, and volunteers in their daily tasks and responsibilities
  • Lead activities that promote learning, creativity, and socialization among children
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers, parents, and community service providers
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
