Reporting directly to the Senior Quality Director, you will be instrumental in executing strategies aimed at achieving superior business process excellence within our organization. Collaborating with leaders across various functions, you will spearhead initiatives focused on process enhancement to meet operational objectives. We seek a candidate with a robust background in operational excellence and exceptional communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute strategies for operational excellence to fulfill operational, financial, and personnel objectives.
- Perform Enterprise Value Stream Assessments to pinpoint improvement opportunities and establish standardized processes through lean methodologies.
- Foster relationships with functional leaders to align them with operational excellence objectives.
- Facilitate cross-functional kaizen events to support significant improvement projects and advocate for change management practices.
- Employ analytical techniques to evaluate non-value-added activities and offer recommendations for process streamlining.
- Develop Process Control Plans and Standardized Work for products, providing coaching to leaders as required.
- Establish and uphold quality standards for New Product Development processes.
- Implement a Total Quality Management System alongside World Class Manufacturing Practices.
- Leverage quality feedback and metrics to drive design enhancements.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Business Management.
- Over 5 years of experience in project management or process improvement, with a minimum of 3 years in the manufacturing sector.
- Familiarity with diverse manufacturing technologies and methodologies.
- Proficient in computer applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members across the organization.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Work Schedule: Onsite
Physical Requirements
Normal or occasional minor physical effort is required for daily activities in the workplace, which may include standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting or moving objects or equipment.
