- 40 to 44 hours/week
- Monday to Friday
- Alternating Saturdays
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipper/Receiver at our Auto Parts Store in Brantford, Ontario. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for efficiently checking, picking, receiving, shipping, stocking, and organizing automotive parts. You will also assist in maintaining the inventory and cleanliness of the store and effectively dispatching delivery drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all store warehouse duties, including picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking, and organizing
- Help control inventory and ensure product availability
- Coordinate drivers for effective dispatching of vehicles
- Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner
- Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles
- Efficiently and correctly complete deliveries, taking into account customer preferences
- Collaborate with the main warehouse to resolve stock-related concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet area, workstations, and shared spaces neat and organized
- When required, answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner
- Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team
Requirements:
- A valid G Driver's License and a clean 3-year driver's abstract required
- Basic math skills and ability to sort alphanumerically
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Outlook, online database, and web-based training
- Picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control, and stock maintenance experience an asset
- Driver dispatching experience an asset
