About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipper/Receiver. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for efficiently checking, picking, receiving, shipping, stocking, and organizing automotive parts. You will also assist in maintaining inventory and ensuring product availability, as well as coordinating the dispatching of delivery drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all store warehouse duties, including picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking, and organizing
  • Help control inventory and ensure product availability
  • Coordinate the dispatching of delivery drivers
  • Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner
  • Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles
  • Efficiently and correctly complete deliveries, taking into account customer preferences
  • Collaborate with the main warehouse to resolve stock-related concerns
  • Maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet area, workstations, and shared spaces neat and tidy
  • Answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team

Requirements:

  • A valid G Driver's License and a clean 3-year driver's abstract
  • Basic math skills and ability to sort alphanumerically
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Outlook, online database, and web-based training
  • Picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control, and stock maintenance experience is an asset
  • Driver dispatching experience is also an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) to 50 lbs. (22.7 kg) safely and consistently
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, twist, lift, and bend on a regular basis
