Role Responsibilities:

As a Senior Insurance Consultant, you will provide an exceptional experience for High Net Worth clients by:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of client assets, financial objectives, and risk tolerance to develop a customized Insurance Plan with tailored strategies for High Net Worth individuals.
  • Identifying opportunities for referrals and collaborating with a team of Partners/Advisors to implement an integrated approach aimed at consolidating assets and ensuring TD is their primary financial institution.
  • Working closely with TDI underwriters, claims advisors, and HNW inspectors to deliver optimal insurance solutions.
  • Focusing on onboarding clients with investment needs to Investment Management (PIC/PIA).
  • Proactively collaborating with your direct Manager to enhance client experience, operational practices, and personal development.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of TDI policies, industry trends, and ensuring compliance to protect the interests and reputation of TDI and its clients.
  • Representing TDI and TDBG to the public in a professional manner.
  • Engaging with clients face-to-face to understand their needs and collaborating with the HNW team to ensure a superior underwriting experience.
  • Actively participating as a team member and fostering a positive work environment that aligns with the business's vision and exceptional client experience.
  • Having tiered binding authority, with this HNW advisor possessing a binding authority of $9,999,999MM.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Personal Lines, preferably with a focus on high net worth clients.
  • Nationally licensed in insurance sales (excluding Quebec) and in good standing.
  • Willingness to obtain licenses in other provinces and/or territories.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated sales ability to enhance account value.
  • Unwavering commitment to professionalism and expertise in client service.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Diverse and robust background in insurance.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Comprehensive insurance knowledge across various asset classes to facilitate informed discussions on topics such as underwriting, pricing, claims, and cross-border issues.
  • Proven ability to engage in a detailed client discovery process and identify opportunities for partner referrals.
  • Confidence in building and managing relationships with sophisticated clients.
  • Established network of Centers of Influence and external advisors.
