About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team at S & R Trucking Inc. as a Financial Record Keeper. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Data Entry: Enter financial data into our accounting system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in bookkeeping or accounting is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
