Job Title: Business Relationship Senior Manager
Position Overview:
The Senior Manager in Business Relationship Management (BRM) is essential in cultivating robust partnerships between IT and various business sectors within the company. Acting as a trusted consultant, this role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to synchronize business requirements with IT services, thereby driving organizational growth and improving customer satisfaction through effective communication and strategic planning.
Reporting to the Global Director of Planning and Project Services (PPS), the ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of client support services, focusing on the implementation and enhancement of Business Relationship Management best practices throughout the organization. This role may also encompass leadership responsibilities within the IT PPS team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior leadership to ensure technology aligns with business goals.
- Serve as a liaison between business executives and technology teams, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
- Assist in the formulation of technology strategies and future planning to fulfill business needs.
- Ensure that project requests are aligned with business priorities and IT capabilities.
- Oversee project portfolios, assess risks, and resolve issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry trends to modify IT strategies as necessary.
- Lead the adoption of Business Relationship Management processes within the organization.
- Mentor and develop team members, encouraging a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant discipline is required; additional certifications are advantageous.
- Proven experience in business relationship management, as well as program and project management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, assess performance metrics, and make informed strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software.
- Flexibility and capability to excel in a dynamic environment.
