Talent Advisory Manager

Dentons Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Advisory Manager to join our team. As a key member of our national Talent team, you will be responsible for providing expert HR consultation and recommendations to our staff members in the Edmonton office.
Key Responsibilities- Provide HR consultation and recommendations to staff members in the Edmonton office
- Work collaboratively with Talent colleagues across Canada and our Talent Centres of Excellence to deliver solutions to business needs
- Implement and interpret policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Manage employee leave programs, including tracking leave balances, processing requests, and coordinating return-to-work plans
- Support efforts to drive positive engagement and lead the planning and organization of local office events
- Drive the annual performance management and compensation review process
- Participate in the annual budgeting process and contribute input on local requirements
- Monitor workplace safety compliance and investigate workplace accidents or incidents
- University degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
- HR designation is an asset
- Experience in managing change and working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of MS Office and previous experience working with an HRIS
