**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Organizational Leadership**: Oversee the organization of work performed and maintain quality control standards.
  • **Team Supervision**: Supervise and mentor service technicians to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • **Work Environment**: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • **Customer Service**: Foster a commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • **Communication**: Effectively communicate with customers, service team members, and other branch personnel.
  • **Scheduling**: Establish and maintain an on-call field schedule.
  • **Cost Management**: Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department.
  • **Work Order Management**: Open and close work orders, prepare work orders for warranty.
  • **Additional Duties**: Perform other duties as required to support the team.

**Required Skills**

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including after-hours.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

**Required Experience**

  • Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is an asset.
  • Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade required.
  • Experience in a service department setting required.
  • Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products preferred.
  • Forklift license preferred.
