In this role, reporting to the Reliability Lead, the Reliability Engineer or Engineer in Training will be tasked with formulating strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, executing improvement initiatives, and optimizing performance in the reliability domain for mobile equipment utilized in mining operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with site partners to devise and implement business enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a proactive safety leader, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Develop sustainable solutions to challenges faced in maintenance and operations.
  • Advocate for and facilitate process-driven problem-solving techniques, including root cause analysis for complex issues.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to maintenance and reliability.
  • Evaluate, review, and endorse predictive and preventative maintenance strategies for critical safety equipment, adjusting plans based on risk-based business drivers.
  • Analyze existing maintenance strategies and apply reliability principles to create optimized maintenance plans.
  • Support operational areas in crafting maintenance strategies, critical spare parts plans, and inventory levels.
  • Participate in reliability-centered maintenance analyses to formulate comprehensive maintenance strategies for essential equipment.
  • Coordinate projects necessary for executing reliability-centered maintenance tasks.
  • Provide support for project design with a focus on maintainability and promote effective reliability practices during project development.

Qualifications:

  • Eligibility for registration as a P.Eng with the Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC).
  • Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in reliability, plant equipment, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license.

Salary Range: $103,000 - $127,000. The actual base salary offered will be based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies, while also considering internal equity.
