About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at Teck. As a key member of our reliability team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reliability Strategy Development

Develop and implement reliability strategies to improve equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs.

Maintenance Optimization

Optimize maintenance plans and schedules to ensure maximum equipment availability and minimize downtime.

Problem Solving

Identify and resolve complex maintenance and reliability-related problems using root cause analysis and other problem-solving techniques.

Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and engineering, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Leadership and Coaching

Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge in reliability engineering.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, or a related field.

Skills

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications

Eligible for registration as a P.Eng with the Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC).

Salary Range

$103,000 - $127,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
