Job Summary
The University Health Network is seeking a skilled Nutrition Aide to join our team. As a Nutrition Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in our Nutrition Services department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble meal trays and prepare food items according to meal ticket requests
- Retrieve, stock, and set up food items and supplies at workstations
- Disassemble, clean, and maintain workstations and tray assembly areas
- Prepare snacks and perform cross-functional duties as assigned
- Wash and clean equipment and utensils as required
- Perform other duties consistent with the job classification
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent education
- Good manual dexterity and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- 6 months of practical experience in a related field
- Food Service Worker Certificate or equivalent preferred
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
