This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven lawyer to join the legal department of a growing company in the real estate development sector.

As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to build a legal career in a dynamic and growing industry while contributing to the delivery of housing solutions for Canadians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and practical legal advice to various departments within the organization
  • Draft legal agreements and documents
  • Collaborate with the legal team to achieve business objectives
  • Manage external counsel and mitigate risk
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive office environment

Requirements:

  • LLB/JD or equivalent
  • 1-4 years post-call experience
  • Member in good standing of the Law Society of. or ability to transfer from other provincial law society
  • Preference for experience in corporate commercial, construction, real estate, and litigation
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple work assignments and priorities
  • Team player with strong communication skills
