Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Care Assistant to join our team at Private Home Caregiver. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing and personal hygiene
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding and medication management
  • Provide light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a safe and healthy environment
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account dietary needs and restrictions
  • Assist with exercise and mobility, promoting independence and well-being
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition, ensuring timely interventions
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • CPR Certificate and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility
Work Environment

Our clients live in private homes, and as a Home Care Assistant, you will work in a non-smoking environment, with a focus on providing personalized care and support.

Language

The primary language spoken in our home care setting is English, and proficiency in this language is required.

Work Schedule

We offer a permanent position, with a work schedule of 30-40 hours per week, providing a stable and predictable work environment.
