About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team at Just Like Family Home Care. As a Personal Care Aide, you will provide high-quality, personalized care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote mental and physical well-being.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Administer medications and perform other tasks as required, ensuring the highest level of care and safety.
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Health Care Aide Certificate or Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to relocate for this position.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional care.
