- Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, and implement effective solutions to resolve problems.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports of problems and repairs, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Education and Certification: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant trade certifications, such as Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
- Experience and Skills: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of commercial transport truck systems and mechanical repair techniques.
- Personal Qualities: Reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
- Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on safety and quality.
- Work Schedule: The position requires a regular 30 to 40 hour workweek, with occasional overtime as needed.
