Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Spadoni Motors Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with commercial transport truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions, and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to ensure the longevity of our vehicles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • Automotive Service Technician (Transmission) Trade Certification.
  • Automotive Service Technician (Steering, Suspension and Brakes) Trade Certification.
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification.
  • Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification.
Work Environment
  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent work term.
  • English language required.
