is sought for an innovative company. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing new lighting fixtures and enhancing existing products while collaborating with the Product Development team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take ownership of the entire product development process, from concept selection to commercialization and production setup;

• Develop three-dimensional CAD models using Solidworks;

• Produce detailed drawings for the creation of mock-ups and prototypes for testing and assessment;

• Collaborate with suppliers to understand manufacturing limitations;

• Possess knowledge of fabrication methods necessary for sheet-metal, metal and plastic extrusion, die-casting, thermoforming, and plastic injection;

• Conduct competitive product benchmarking;

• Assist in defining key selling propositions;

• Provide support in preparing for mass production;

• Act as Project Manager, overseeing project scope, timeline, and budget;

• Execute structural calculations and simulations;

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution;

• Proficiency in Solidworks is essential;

• Strong written and verbal communication skills;

• Full proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);

• Creative thinking and the ability to contribute innovative ideas;

• Exceptional organizational capabilities;

• Experience in the lighting sector is a significant advantage;

• Familiarity with UL safety standards is also a considerable asset;
