As a division of Rexel Canada Electrical Inc., we offer a wide range of quality products and services. We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Business Development Trainee.

Job Summary

The Business Development Trainee will be responsible for learning and developing into a future Sales & Business Development Representative. This will involve learning and optimizing processes from the warehouse operations to sales ownership, including learning about new products and services, and developing market go-to strategies to grow the customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and develop into a future Sales & Business Development Representative
  • Learn and optimize processes from the warehouse operations to sales ownership
  • Develop market go-to strategies to grow the customer base
  • Conduct outbound calls to engage prospects and effectively communicate the benefits of our services
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by efficiently managing leads and opportunities
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Business Development, Account Management and/or Sales
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Tenacity, grit, and a dedication to professionalism
  • A student mentality and the drive to succeed and gain new skill sets
