Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
- Customer Relations: Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and food wastage.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports regarding operations and inventory.
- Order Preparation: Compile food order summaries for the chef.
- Culinary Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of the restaurant's culinary styles and genres.
- Tray Assembly Supervision: Oversee the assembly of food trays and ensure proper delivery of food trolleys.
- Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for kitchen and service staff.
This role is set in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail is crucial for success in this position.
