Physiotherapist II, Acute Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist II to join our team at BC Children's Hospital and SunnyHill Health Centre. As a key member of our Physiotherapy department, you will provide expert care to our patients and contribute to the development of our specialized pediatric rehabilitation program.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with complex needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Develop and implement innovative physiotherapy programs and interventions to address the unique needs of our patients.
- Document patient information and progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in pediatric physiotherapy.
- Baccalaureate degree in Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation Sciences, with licensure with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia.
- Two years of recent experience in pediatric physiotherapy, with a strong background in acute rehabilitation and specialized pediatric care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
