Job Title: Physiotherapist II, Oncology

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist II to join our team in the Oncology department. As a Physiotherapist II, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cancer rehabilitation programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with cancer and related conditions.
  • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including exercise programs, manual therapy, and education, to promote optimal physical function and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to cancer rehabilitation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in cancer rehabilitation and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy or related field.
  • Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cancer rehabilitation or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
