Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy (30%)
    • Lead company branding workshops and be the primary point of contact for new brand and website design projects.
    • Oversee the quality of design work across design, branding, and website projects.
    • Drive the company's creative portfolio vision and work with project leaders to pitch new design projects.
    • Be the first to respond to new design opportunities within client accounts and spearhead new initiatives.
    • Manage website and web application deployments with designers, developers, and project coordinators.
  • Design Leadership (30%)
    • Collaborate with development teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
    • Content creation around design tips, hacks, and core design principles for the company's social media channels.
    • Be an active member of the design community.
    • Own the branding design process for the agency and run quarterly workshops with potential clients and design students.
    • Own the agency's design portfolio and message across company sales presentations and marketing materials.
  • Digital Design (40%)
    • Create creative briefs, mood boards, and initial design concepts for branding and web design projects.
    • Collaborate with copywriters and production teams on brand vision and maintain that vision across the year's execution of digital campaigns.
    • Deliver detailed brand guidelines, creative direction, and design systems.
    • Ensure projects are on time and on budget with project management.
    • Oversee and support design on website and branding initiatives.
  • Requirements
    • Entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude with the ability to work remotely and perform based on KPIs.
    • A strong design portfolio that shows design collaboration.
    • Energetic personality and passion for design education.
    • Knowledge of Figma, design systems, auto layout, etc.
    • Knowledge of WordPress development tools (Drag-and-drop builders, Theme Creation).
    • Working knowledge of web technologies and design software.
    • Passionate about being on the right side of change and thinking ahead of the curve.
    • Clear communication skills and scheduling across multiple projects.
