Position Summary:
The SAP Business Solutions Analyst (MM) at Stella-Jones plays a crucial role in assessing, validating, and documenting business requirements. This position serves as a vital link between IT and business experts, ensuring that business needs are effectively articulated and transformed into detailed specifications.

As a newly established role within the organization, this position is pivotal due to the ongoing implementation of SAP across the company and the establishment of our newly formed SAP Centers of Excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Analysis (80%) and Configuration (20%):
    Conduct comprehensive business analysis activities focusing on SAP PP, IM, QM, and MM modules. Adapt to evolving contexts from analysis to configuration as the rollout progresses.
  • Ensure Specifications Align with Business Needs:
    Translate business requirements into precise system specifications.
  • Expertise in SAP S4/HANA Modules:
    Provide specialized knowledge in SAP PP, IM, QM, and MM modules to facilitate implementation and enhancement.
  • Define and Document Business Requirements:
    Engage in defining and documenting business requirements and processes in accordance with SAP best practices.
  • Design Operational Procedures:
    Create procedures and processes based on SAP best practices to optimize operations.
  • Project Analysis and Recommendations:
    Evaluate new projects and internal client requests, offering insightful recommendations for effective solutions.
  • System Configuration and Documentation:
    Analyze user requirements and document system configurations, enhancements, and modifications.
  • Support and Maintenance:
    Provide assistance and maintenance for non-SAP applications/systems as necessary.
  • IT Standards Compliance:
    Contribute to the development and enforcement of IT software standards, operating procedures, and policies.
  • Incident Management:
    Participate in the escalation of incidents analyzed by user support levels 1 and 2.
Qualifications:
Deep understanding of SAP S4/HANA modules, business analysis methodologies, and system configuration is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives, demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing project requirements, and possess a commitment to staying informed about SAP advancements and industry best practices.
