About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Fiscal Policy Advisor. As a key member of our Corporate Tax team, you will play a critical role in shaping our company's tax strategy and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in corporate tax planning and restructuring initiatives, both domestically and internationally.
  • Collaborate with our Accounting and Finance team, as well as senior management, to provide tax guidance on a range of topics, including transfer pricing, sales taxes, corporate income taxes, and international tax treaties.
  • Conduct reviews and audits of foreign tax filings.
  • Assist in calculating future tax liabilities related to business acquisitions and annual tax provisions.
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual tax returns for Canadian and US entities within our group.
  • Work with our team to make informed tax decisions in Canada, the US, and internationally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on accounting.
  • Experience in a public accounting firm or corporate environment.
  • Master's degree in taxation or completion of the CPA taxation program (an asset).
  • Excellent adaptability and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Proficiency in English for internal communication with clients and suppliers outside of Quebec.
