About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Operator to join our team at Zetra Enterprises Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Operate heavy equipment, including but not limited to, cranes, excavators, and bulldozers, to perform various tasks such as excavation, demolition, and construction.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
  • Measurement and Documentation: Measure distance, volume, length, and weight, and complete onboard and other logs to track progress and ensure accuracy.
  • Pre-Operational Checks: Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition before use.
  • Communication: Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment to stay in touch with team members and coordinate tasks.
  • Navigation: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment to navigate job sites and ensure accurate positioning.
  • Hydraulic Systems: Operate hydraulic pumping systems to power equipment and perform tasks.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements and execute tasks accurately.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work in various weather conditions and be able to lift heavy objects.
