Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist

Dr. Jimmy W. Chan Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental practice, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough dental assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with dentists to ensure seamless patient care
  • Supervise dental assistants and provide guidance on health care functions
  • Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
  • Perform routine cleanings, apply fluoride treatments, and remove stains and deposits from teeth
  • Administer local anesthetics and take, develop, and mount X-rays
  • Diagnose and treat gum disease and other oral health issues
Requirements:
  • Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body
  • Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
