- Collaborate with dentists to ensure seamless patient care and provide expert advice on oral health.
- Supervise dental assistants in their health care functions, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Deliver high-quality patient education on oral hygiene and provide personalized instruction to promote healthy habits.
- Perform routine cleanings, apply fluoride treatments, and remove stains and deposits from teeth to maintain optimal oral health.
- Administer local anesthetics and take, develop, and mount X-rays as required.
- Diagnose and treat various oral health conditions, including gum disease and other issues.
- Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body.
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail are essential for this role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
This is a temporary position with a variable schedule of 8-16 hours per week. Free parking is available on site.
LanguageThe primary language of work is English.
