At Nutreco External, safety is our top priority. We provide comprehensive training on safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of injury. Our team consistently monitors quality and food safety standards, taking proactive measures to address any potential issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will collaborate with the Maintenance Lead to support daily operations through effective maintenance practices.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on equipment. Fabricate and install new machinery as needed.
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability and facilitate purchasing.
- Coordinate scheduled downtime with production for preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Gain a thorough understanding of all machinery operations.
- Conduct basic electrical and boiler maintenance tasks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this role, we value your 2-3 years of maintenance experience, along with any welding or fabrication skills.
- Welding certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Proven capacity to work effectively and positively within a team.
- Attention to detail and a collaborative spirit are essential.
- Leadership qualities and proficient computer skills. Openness to coaching and learning new processes.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Full-time, Permanent position; overtime may be required.
- Day Shift with on-call responsibilities. Must be willing to work on-call, including holidays, weekends, and evenings.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently bend, twist, lift, climb, and work at heights, with the capacity to lift up to 25 kg.
- Work Environment: Regular exposure to loud noises, distracting sound levels, and dusty conditions.
