Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Skilled Production Operator to join our team at our state-of-the-art feed mill facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our production lines, from raw material receipt to finished product shipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain production equipment, including bulk trucks and forklifts, to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
  • Conduct quality control checks on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Participate in cross-training programs to develop skills and knowledge in various areas of the plant, including preventive and sanitary maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the plant.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a feed mill or manufacturing environment, preferably in a production or maintenance role.
  • Ability to work rotational shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Positive work attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and forklift certification (an asset).
