The Director, Privacy, CDAO, Marketing will lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide privacy strategies and solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This role will work closely with subject matter experts, including the Chief Privacy Officer and Privacy Office, to build a comprehensive approach to data governance and risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement enterprise-wide privacy strategies and solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, including the Chief Privacy Officer and Privacy Office, to build a comprehensive approach to data governance and risk management.
- Work closely with the Chief Privacy Officer, LOBs, First Line, Compliance, and T&O partners to gather requirements, articulate cost/benefits to drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of Enterprise privacy strategic solutions and operational processes across all LOBs in Canada and the US.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, compliance officers, and data protection officers, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of privacy strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices, and provide guidance and support to ensure compliance.
- Strong understanding of data governance, risk management, and compliance principles and practices.
- Experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide privacy strategies and solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
