We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Jass Rai Construction Ltd.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects. This will involve analyzing project requirements, estimating costs, and developing comprehensive cost plans.
Key Responsibilities- Estimating and Cost Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects, including general expenses and overheads.
- Project Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements, including site conditions, materials, and labour needs.
- Cost Control: Develop and implement cost control measures to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Communication: Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates and cost plans.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of estimates, cost plans, and project progress.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in estimating software and tools.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced construction environment and must be able to communicate effectively in English.
