Construction Estimator

Jass Rai Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects. Your expertise will help us make informed decisions about project feasibility and profitability. Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
* Develop and maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors
* Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate estimates and project timelines
* Analyze tenders and recommend awards
* Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
* Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
Requirements:
* College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience
* 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
