Position Overview
Role Summary
What is the opportunity?
RBC Dominion Securities is on the lookout for an Associate to become part of a seasoned advisory group. In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding the business by delivering outstanding service and managing administrative responsibilities related to client accounts while addressing client inquiries. This position is a full-time contract role.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional support for incoming calls and emails from clients, advisors, and various internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist Investment Advisors with general administrative tasks in managing client accounts.
- Help prepare client reviews and presentations for Investment Advisors.
- Request necessary information and documentation from clients to facilitate account openings and maintain updated client files.
- Contribute to the preparation of mailings, including seminars, newsletters, and informational packages.
- Coordinate meetings for Investment Advisors and manage the printing and distribution of reports.
- Track all pending transfers to ensure timely completion.
Qualifications for Success
Essential Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is essential, as you will frequently interact with clients and RBC partners across Canada who require both language services.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH).
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management capabilities.
- Proven ability to deliver world-class client service in a professional, warm, and friendly manner.
Desirable Attributes
- Familiarity with RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures is advantageous.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the securities industry.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and entrepreneurial mindset.
