Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management
    • Plan and coordinate the production of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods.
    • Ensure that all products are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Team Supervision
    • Supervise and train a team of baking personnel and kitchen staff.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage the inventory of ingredients, equipment, and supplies.
    • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all products meet established standards of quality and presentation.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to our customers, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Knowledge of baking and pastry arts.
