Bakery Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Supervisor to join our team at Fairy Sweet. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of our delicious baked goods, ensuring high-quality products, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and train bakery staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Prepare and bake mixed dough and batters according to recipes or special customer orders
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
- Draw up production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods, including preparing special orders and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods
