Job Title: Concrete Finisher

Patterned Concrete Ontario is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and physically fit individual to work on-site, completing tasks related to concrete finishing, installation, and repair. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of blueprints, maps, and specifications, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in concrete finishing
  • Ability to work on-site with minimal supervision
  • Physical demands include handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail
